My First Week Back

Hi everyone! My name is Leah and I'm a Business Intern at G Farms, I was with G Farms for a month while I was on winter break and came back for the summer. During my first week back I have definitely continued to learn as I go on deliveries and even a construction site. When on deliveries it is important to have good relationships with the customers and build that trust. We also strive to have excellent customer service in anything we do. While I have been with G Farms for a short time prior to this week, Tuesday was my first time on a construction site and I learned that there's a lot more that goes into concrete and the whole process than I thought. It takes a team to lay the concrete out and a lot of work to make it the smooth slab or driveway you see everyday. While I was on deliveries I discussed the 5 steps to the perfect plate with many customers and now know how to prepare and cook a grass-fed cut of beef. I know I have so much more to learn, not only about beef and construction but also how to grow as a person and I look forward to this summer.
