Party Pleasers - New Series!

Party Pleasers

This is the inaugural post of a new series we are introducing!  Wondering how to bring your party over the top with some good eatin’?  Wonder no longer! I’ll introduce a couple of recipes for you guys to try out today & continue to post more “party pleasers”, as I call them every week.

This post will provide you with some recipes to help incorporate G Farms beef into your party meals & have all your guests coming back for seconds!

Summertime

School’s out for summer!  Word to Alice Cooper, thanks for letting me use that line.  But seriously!  The kids are out of school, everyone’s spending more time outdoors, and the gathering of friends and family is more frequent than ever!  Although we love the good times that come along with summer, summer also brings more unwarranted stress. In huge amounts for that matter. When you attend a gathering between family and friends, you get away from the stress of work, mingle, and overall have a good time.  Now imagine you’re the one hosting the party.  Your job is to make sure that everyone mingles and has a good time. You have to prepare your home for guests, create a theme for the night, and the toughest part - provide everyone with food!  Some good fine dining can take any gathering from a 6 to a 10!

Chuck Roast Burnt Ends

This dish has always been a G Farms fan favorite.  Willie has already made a blog post over this recipe, so check out his article to learn about this one!  https://gfarmsonline.com/blogs/intern-life-on-the-farm/chuck-roast-burnt-ends-recipe

Wonton Tacos

This is a perfect dish for summer fun.  Relaxing by the pool, having company over, whatever your situation is - this one is a winner!

What Do I Need?

You can find the small square refrigerated wonton wrappers at your local grocery store.  You'll also need ground beef, minced onions, garlic, taco seasoning, tomatoes, olives, cheese, shredded lettuce, sour cream, or any other vegetables you see fit.

Preparation

Put a wonton wrapper in each of the cups in a standard muffin pan.

Mix your ground beef with taco seasoning, minced onion, and garlic.  You can add different herbs and spices if you prefer.  Add 1-2 tablespoons of the ground beef mix in each cup.

Bake this in your oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees.

Once it reaches a golden-brown color, remove it from the oven.

Add tomatoes, olives, and top with cheese.  Place the pan back in the oven & bake until the cheese melts.

After removing from the oven for the final time, add lettuce, sour cream, and any other toppings you prefer.

Now, serve the tacos & watch them disappear before your eyes!

I want to hear from you!
