Until Next Time

This was my last week as a business intern until this summer, and I have learned so much during my short time here. I finished "Raving Fans" this week and got a lot out of it. Some of the final things that really stuck out were when looking at the Raving Fans 3 steps was this quote, "Customers have needs beyond the need of the company's product, whether it comes in a box or is a particular service. People need to feel they belong to the group. People need to feel that they're important and that what they do, think, and say truly matters." He then goes on to say, "Deliver that kind of hug with everything else you've learned and you'll create Raving Fans...". This stuck out to me because not only does it apply in the workplace, it also applies in everyday life. If we are 1% better everyday, we are improving and growing. It is important to set goals and whether they are small or large goals, work everyday to reach and achieve them.

As I go back to school, I am going to use what I've learned so far in this internship and apply it to my daily life and strive to achieve my goals personally and academically. With a heavy course load I know I may have challenges, but I won't let them distract me from where I will be in the long run. I am really looking forward to coming back and seeing what else this internship has in store for me!
