Integrity

When I was in the Air Force, one of our core values was integrity. They always told us to "do the right thing, even when no one is looking." Yeah, okay, I got it after the first five times I heard it, but within my entire career, I heard it non-stop. It was always brought up in meetings, or someone in my leadership would send it out in an email. The point was that they never wanted us to lose sight of that core value. Looking back, yes, it makes sense and I understand why it was always tossed around, but my insight on that word has changed over the past few months.

When I took on this job, of course, I did not know what to expect. If you follow my blogs, you will know exactly what I am talking about. The learning process has moved me in a direction I cannot fathom, and it started with integrity. The job itself with our customers, our products, even down to each word on the website, shows the integrity this company was founded on. Not only does that rub off on me, but I do my best to spread it along with our fanbase and customers. The integrity we have here at the farm shows in each and every step of a beef delivery. From the moment you place an order to the minute we leave your house, each step in between was done the right way. You might sit there and ask yourself, "What is the right way?" Well, I can assure you, we do it the right way, as in absolutely keeping our word and ensuring you are taken care of. To me, that's integrity. That's what gets the job done, and that's what gets the G Farms name out. We hold ourselves accountable, we answer those hard questions, we put in the hours, and we, for dang sure, keep our word. Integrity.....Get after it.
