Know your strike zone

I grew up playing baseball. I was mainly an infielder and a pitcher. The biggest thing I was taught was to know my strike zone. Know where to throw it, know where not to throw it, and simply no wild pitches. After starting this career and understanding the value and process of knowing your customers, I have leaned that customers are very good batters most of the time, and they don’t usually swing at a pitch outside of the strike zone. As a pitcher in the game of life, knowing my strike zone, and knowing where to pitch so my customers can hit home runs is crucial and quite frankly, it’s exciting.

In the book Fanatical Prospecting, the author explains this scenario and I understood it perfectly. He has a great way of explaining things to where I can understand, and I am glad I have a book to where it helps me understand.
