Mozzarella stuffed meatloaf recipe
Ingredients:1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg, beaten
Salt and pepper to taste
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes
Instructions:Preheat your oven to 375°F
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Take half of the meat mixture and press it into the bottom of a loaf pan, making sure to create an even layer.Place the mozzarella cheese cubes on top of the meat mixture in the loaf pan, leaving a border around the edges.Take the remaining meat mixture and press it on top of the mozzarella cheese, sealing the edges to form a loaf shape.Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F .
Top with your favorite meatloaf glaze
