The Scoop on the Coop

Is this becoming the norm or just a fad? Whatever it is I have jumped in full force. Starting out with just selecting a few breeds myself, I have ended up with pure breeds and barnyards mixes. I counted over 100 birds on my property now. Not just limiting myself to chickens including meat pigeons also.

With the USDA considering this a growing phenomenon, I believe people are wanting to control where their food comes from.  Some say it was the start of COVID, people trapped at home boredom and wanting to be able to control a food source.

Whatever the reason, I am finding a big need. Whether it is beef or farm fresh eggs, we find great comfort in knowing what we are feeding our families and putting in their bodies.
